Yes, you can cancel at any time without penalties. After cancellation, access to paid features remains until the end of the paid period, then the account switches to the free plan.

All your data is retained for 30 days after switching to the free plan. During this time you can download history and reports. After the period expires, data is permanently deleted.

Monitoring is an automatic periodic check of your website. For example, an SSL monitor will check the certificate every N minutes and send an alert if it expires or the site becomes unavailable. Setup takes less than a minute.
